I am OBSESSED with a vegan caesar that we make almost every week, and we also do little vins here and there…red wine vinegar with dijon and olive oil, chili lime with cilantro, we do them all
yes! i’ll have to look up the exact proportions when i’m in front of my recipe book, but it has nuts, vegenaise, nutritional yeast, roasted garlic, vegan worcestershire, miso, brown rice syrup, and a few other things. i’ll give you the full one later today or tomorrow!
I love 3 parts olive oil, 2 parts balsamic, 1 part dijon mustard, 1 part veganaise, 1 crushed garlic clove, then spritzes of soy or braggs and lots of nutritional yeast sprinkled all over!!! Soooo flavorful and yummy.
You know, I really like the simple olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper. It adds kick, but doesn’t take away, from almost any salad.
I’m more of a “my damn lettuce needs flavor!” kinda gal than a purist.
Haha. I have a friend who loves ranch dressing so much that he uses more dressing than salad.

Does this “a vegan caesar” come with a recipe?

one of our favorites its is a mustard vinaigrette with capers, parsley, shallots, red wine vinegar, olive oil and a smidge of sour cream.
ooh that sounds awesome. Do you have measurements for me?
the original recipe is from Deborah Madison’s Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone.
